Ever wondered how artists like Jane Austen, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ernest Hemingway, Virginia Wolf, Haruki Murakami, Franz Kafka, Pablo Picaso and etc. work and how how they could finish a novel or a composition? I have always been wondering about that for years. It amazes me how one person can be such a genius and boy I'm glad I've come across with this book over the net. Since I didn't find this in my local bookstore I downloaded an ebook and wished there was a hard copy instead. Nothing beats having a book in your hand and smelling off the pages.
I work as an article writer on my free time. Having 2 jobs is not easy and I have a very messed up life, I badly need a routine and organization. While reading about how these individuals work, I learned a few things:
1. You need a routine
2. Must take long walks to think and get inspiration
3. Must smoke cigarettes while working
4. Must drink alcohol while working
5. Must work at your most productive or enthusiastic time of the day (mine's in the morning).
Okay, I'm kidding about number 3 and 4.
I wanted to copy and paste some detailed account of these artist here in my blog but it's not making me. I get rubbish result. Check it out. It's truly inspiring.
