I had my 7th Mothers' Day yesterday, and once again I thank God for the wonderful blessings he gave me.
I thank Him for the strength I need for my kids
- for the comfortable house we live in
- for our good health
- for all the time we've spent together
- for the cute laughs and smiles in our home
- for the kisses every now and then
- for the husband who helps me raising them well
- for giving me 3 mothers
- and for the life of my 2 adorable boys, whom without, I will never live this happy and contented.
Each day I thank God for all his blessings, for the people in my life, for the experience and for the lessons I learned especially on being a mom and a better person. Most people would ask me "What would you be if you never had kids?" and my response to them are usually, "a junkie", "lost", "unsatisfied", "unhappy".
I believe motherhood is a gift and it does not need for you to have children. You can be a mother to your niece/nephew, to your siblings, to your neighbor's child, to the homeless child, to a friend's son/daughter, to a cat, to a dog... It doesn't require you to successfully deliver a child, as long as you love a child (young, grown, over grown) you are a mother and that's your gift and never throw away that gift as a woman.
