Sinulog is one of the biggest event in Cebu after Christmas and new year. It is also one of the grandest festival in the Philippines and we all want to be a part of it. People from different places come together to celebrate this festival with us. The Sinulog festival commemorates the Cebuano people's pagan origin, and their acceptance of Roman Catholicism. This year I missed the street dancing because I was too tired to go out. I decided to go when the sun is about to set.
A lot of things will happen during Sinulog. One bad example is losing your child in the crowd. This boy lost his mom, so we tried helping him to find his mom. We asked help from the police and then brought him to the communication center so that they will be able to find his mom. See how dear he holds my hand. I hope his mother found him after that.
I never bring my kids out during Sinulog. I don't think I can ever forgive myself if I lost one of my sons. May God forbid that to happen. After we left the boy to the care of the police and help center, we went to party at 1 Mango with the Killer Bee DJs .
