Back to School 2012

It's back to school and I am more excited than my little boy, Migue, who will be in 1st grade this June 13.

One of the things I am always excited about when I was young like him, was back to school, and the new school supplies that I will be getting. 

Here are some of Migue's stuffs. I haven't started covering his books and putting stickers on them since I still don't know what section and who his teachers will be per subject. I have a very bad handwriting, so I prefer stickers for labeling them.

Do you remember when our yayas or moms cover our notebooks with colored art paper so it will be color coded as required by the school? Now they're selling notebooks in colors and no cartoon prints so there will be no need to cover them up. Great idea! I never liked those printed notebooks.

I asked Migue if he likes his new school, he said " yes, but there's one thing I do not like." I was startled by this young man's answer. He didn't seem to care enough to give his opinions before, I say he has grown a lot and knows what he likes and don't like. So I asked him what he didn't like and he simply said, "I don't like it because I have to wake up early." I had to explain to him that since he's already on the first grade, we will be waking up early until college, and that's for a long time.
