Happy Mothers Day Sunny!

Silly mom showing off her nails. She laughed after seeing those veins on her hands, she worries sometimes about looking old, but she is the most beautiful 80+ woman I've ever seen.

Because greeting moms on Facebook, giving them flowers and nice stuff is so mainstream, I decided to spend mothers day by painting my mother's nails and stick them with stars and hearts.

Letter for my mommy:

Dear Mommy,

I honestly forgot to buy you cards and have no time to buy you flowers because I ran out of my money buying other stuffs. I admit that most of those stuff were for my own, but I know buying you nice things and your favorite flowers is not what you need today. We are so blessed having everything we need, I know only simplest things are what really matters to you.

I know you like me to give you long hand written letters. Since you don't have a Facebook account (thank gods!) then there is no need to express my feelings there and wow people with words that were not meant for them. No, I do not want to touch people's hearts like you do. I want people to be honest about their feelings.

I know all you need most is a listening ear even you've told the same story a thousand times, and someone who can fill your days with stories on how their days went no matter how boring they are. I know you like me to make you things without asking you if you like them. You get mad every time someone asks "would you like some...?" as what you always say, "I like everything you make". Even if  sometimes they are not as good. But you are a mom, you have always been biased to your loved ones. I know you love me and my sons more than anything in this world, and for that, we are so blessed.

I am sorry for the many pains I caused you, for arguing with you most of the time and walking out when I couldn't take it anymore. I am sorry for not giving you the best, but somehow, you never forced me in doing things I do not like. You have always been understanding and loving and forgiving, despite everything. You have always defended me, and helped me even if I never ask.

I know raising me was never easy, but I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you. You have always supported me in every aspect, and every challenges I go through. You never left my side, you were always there putting me back to the right path, guiding me through life. I don't know how I would turn out without you coaching me, cheering me up, loving me, taking care of me, praying for me.

I thank you with all my heart. I love you more each day.
