A Present from Mom

My mom got me a present today. She called me in her room then handed me a badly wrapped gift with the store's name on it. I didn't least expect it because I did ask for it not so long time ago. 

I was speechless. First, I don't know why she got me another one this year. Second, it's the wrong version that I asked for. Third, it looks expensive. Nevertheless, I am thankful. She's very thoughtful (she always gets  me the wrong one)

I do not get why bibles are so expensive. I would understand other things being expensive, but why is the good news and something that's supposed to be free, expensive?
