Goes to 1408. A film adaptation based on Stephen King's novel. The film stars John Cusack, Samuel L Jackson (which is why I was interested to watch it) and Mary McCormack. The film was released in 2007, but I was only able to watch it during All Souls Day this year. The local channels are showing horror movies for the whole week.
I do not like American horror films especially Stephen King novels/adaptations. They are so predictable.
Most of the American horror story goes:
1. A dead man came back to life and kills a group of people.
2. Victims run and run and killer still catches them.
3. Killers/dead man alive wears mask.
4. For Stephen King novels, main character is isolated and discover things.
I'd rather watch the old Tagalog horror movies. I honestly love them. I hate it when Hollywood makes a version of Asian horror movies. Asian horror movies are the best! In fairness, Insidious was a good film, I give it 4 stars. The only thing that turned me off was when the ghost was trying to lick Rose Byrne. Ghost don't lick people.
