This is me enjoying the last days of summer. Despite the false prophecy that Judgment Day will be on May 21, 2011. I have to push through with my plan in going to Siquijor since this has been my plan since February. I guess I have mentioned before how I hate people who cancels or changes plans. I am not very good with changes. My travel buddy was already hesitant and I have to act like a spoiled brat just to convince him. "Okay, we are not going, and I will die full of regrets and I will never rest, and I will blame you for everything! I will always be miserable because I have so many frustrations." This is how I threaten him. I tried crying, but no use because he immediately said yes.
So the plan pushed through. Took a bus ride to the south. Did I ever mention how I love bus rides? Yes I do.
I found this website years ago http://www.siquijorcasa.com/beach_resort_siquijor.htm I have been wanting to go to Siquijor and my wish only came true this year. So this summer is really good. I was able to save a lot for this trip.
It was love at first sight. Siquijor is a beautiful place, clean and well preserved. The resort that we were staying in was great. I thought I could live there for the whole summer and just absorb everything. The silence, nature, the peace.

We rented a motorcycle and enjoyed touring half of the island. It was great! That's my travel buddy.
The sunset may look creepy here, but it was very beautiful that day. However, I still prefer sunrises than sunsets.
