I didn't enjoy my childhood that much because everything was limited. I was sickly so I can't have much fun. I was not allowed to explore, and living in the city is like living in a very limited not so fun world. I was not allowed to go out and play with other kids in the park. I was not allowed to ride a bike. My mom loves me too much and she's afraid that something bad might happen when she leaves me alone. I can't blame her because she was already on her 60s back then and the world had become a bad place.
Now that I am a mom of two, I want my sons to have the best childhood by allowing them to get bruises and cuts as they learn from their mistakes while I watch from a distance. Dean is almost 1 and I can't wait until he turns 3 and play with his Kuya and stay 3 years old for a long time. Migue is turning 5 on December and he's doing a great job as an older sibling. I want time to slow down then.
This is how I want to remember them by. Someday, this photo will be vintage and precious to me and to them. I wonder how long will internet last. My brother Steven is always encouraging me to take pictures of them so he lent me his camera.
I think I'll start a mommy blog soon and say goodbye to all of my nonsense. Hmmmmmm. Why not?
