I was so tired yesterday running up errands. When I went home, I ran off to the shower then hit the bed and immediately fell asleep. I've never been so tired in my entire life. I submitted pre-employment requirements plus the scourging heat drained me.
So since my aim for this blog this year is to keep it sweet and useful, I'm gonna share some tips on what to prepare when you're looking for a job.
1. NBI clearance. If you already applied, you have to renew it if you lost the Original copy or if the clearance already expired.
2. Certificate Of Employment from the previous employer.
3. Transcript Of Records. Makes you wish you did better on college days. I hated ReEd classes and always gets a 3. Now I wish I aced everything.
4. List your BIR, Social Security, Pag-ibig and Philhealth numbers in your handy dandy notebook. They will ask for it in every forms you will be signing on.
5. Photocopy at least 6 copies of your birth certificate and your dependents' birth certificates.
6. Photocopy your government IDs, and bring at least one in your wallet. Don't bring everything in case (god forbid) your wallet gets stolen like mine last year. Now I have to get back on the long queue and reapply.
If there's one thing I hate most, it's lining up.
