The thing I love most about kids is their innocence.
Migue asks for anything he sees on TV, especially toys. He keeps saying, "Mama buy ta ana!" Then I'll say, "Ok". So I realize if I keep saying OK he'll think I'll actually get it for him soon. So one time when asked for another one again, I told him we didn't have enough money for the toys he wanted. He said, "naa man ta daghan money" I showed him the contents of my purse which was empty. He believe me right then and went off to get something from my study table. He was handling my Mom's coin collection and said, "kani, daghan man ni money. I'll give you money".
If only life was much simpler than this and if only we are as optimistic like kids.
