Finally, An Output!

The only way to get rid of those frustrations is to work on them. As you may have read on my previous posts, I've been "wanting" to sew for the reasons I myself don't even know. Sewing or crafting was never much of a hobby or interest of mine until I started following Meream's blog and ever since this little baby is growing in my belly. I happen to be a fickle minded person. My interests are short termed especially if I have no time to make it happen. Patience is not my virtue and is not what I posses even just a tiny bit. When I can't do it, I quit.

When hubby got me sewing and crafting books for our anniversary, we almost thought those pages will never be turned. Thankfully, it was not bought in vain for I have finally started making stuffs.

After a few hours trying to synchronize my timing, (I am using a vintage Singer sewing machine. Bought by mum for 800 pesos! way back in the 70s Therefore, I have to synchronize my arms and legs when paddling that old manual machine) I finally made:

1. One long pillow case
2. 3 throw pillow cases (3rd pillow case not shown. Already sent home to LLC)
3. 1 purse with machine sewn zipper
4. 2 cellphone pouches for mum

The little one likes to pose beside my finished projects

I'd like to thank the ever supportive hubby and mum. without them, none of these would be realized. It could've been just another frustration. =)

Lola(the sewing machine) is also thankful that after being stored and previously used as a coffee table is now back on her game.

Thank you Miguelito for bathing Lola with oil. Lola now runs smoothly despite her age.
